Allyson Felix

Allyson Nicole Felix was born on the 18th of November of 1985 at Los Angeles. Paul Felix, her father was a pastor ordained of Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix worked at Balboa Magnet Elementary School. Felix showed a flair in athletics from the beginning, and soon discovered her talent for sprinting when she attended the Los Angeles Baptist High School. Following her initial audition and placing in the top two at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships for the 200 meters in just 10 weeks. Felix has graduated from high school in 2003 signed a sports contract with Adidas. After that, she went to the University of Southern California and completed her studies in elementary education. The following year, Felix won the first Olympic medal during the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Greece making the world junior record running 200 meters in 22.18 seconds. In the 2005 Helsinki World Championships, Felix was the youngest world champion for the distance of 200 meters. In 2007, she defended the title in front of her Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix placed consistently within the top three throughout her events in the Olympics which took place during Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
